About St Philip’s
A Local Church
You’ll find St Philip’s down Chatterton Lane, the turning just by the bridge in Stubbins. We’re not long off celebrating our 100th anniversary, coming up for us in 2027. We love being part of our community in Stubbins. Some of our members are also part of the residents association, and we love hosting community events – especially our Christmas Starts Here celebrations.
Services at St Philip’s are more traditional, and we particularly value the role of music in our worship. Since coming out of COVID, we’ve made the decision to only meet twice per month, so you can find us in Church at 9.15am on the second and fourth Sundays each month.
We have a small congregation of around 25, but we work hard to create a real family feel to our church. We really value being a place where everyone can come and find a place to be known and loved.

Your Generosity Makes a Difference
The Ramsbottom and Edenfield Team Ministry is blessed to be a part of what the Lord is doing in our corner of the world.
We are committed to being places where all can come and know the Lord Jesus for themselves. We believe that this faith then turns us outwards to bless the communities that we’re part of. We’d love it if you’d consider making a either a one-off or a regular donation to the life of the team.
Growing Our Ministry
Through your donations, we are able to grow our ministry throughout Ramsbottom and Edenfield. Work to further God’s kingdom in our locality.
Securing our Future
Your donation’s enable us to secure the future of our team – ensuring that there is a Christian presence blessing our communities for years to come.
